About the Marcy Family
Providence Cemetery & Cremation Gardens is a family-owned and operated full-service cemetery offering traditional burial sites along with several cremation internment options. Owners Kevin and Gina Marcy are dedicated to serving Bartow County and the surrounding area by providing compassionate and personalized services during life's most challenging moments. Kevin, a fifth-generation funeral director and entrepreneur, has worked in the funeral service industry for most of his life. Kevin and Gina also own Georgia Funeral Care, a full service funeral home located in Acworth, GA. The family's heritage in funeral service began with Kevin's great-great-grandfather in 1868, and the Marcys continue that legacy today. Kevin grew up in Ohio and attended Ohio University, while Gina grew up in Acworth and graduated from North Cobb High School and Kennesaw State University. Together, they have two sons: Wade and Reed. Wade is a financial advisor, and his wife, Amanda, manages the family event facility, The Cowan Historic Mill. Reed is a Paulding County firefighter and works in funeral home operations, while his wife, Fabiola, is the funeral home office manager. The Marcys have five grandchildren: Mason, Jaxon, Charlotte, Marina, and Enzo, along with two furry children: Emi and Laci. Northstar has been their church home since the 1990s.
